Here is what Chad Parker of DGstickers had to say about the weekend.

It was a great weekend of disc golf, no doubt. The courses looked great and it was awesome to see so many players out. It was also really sweet to see some of the bigger names like Michael Johansen, Paul McBeth, Brian Schweberger, Nikko Locastro, Will Schusterick etc. crush it on a couple of my favorite Charlotte courses!

Saturday was a LONG day of disc golf. Even though AMs and PROs were on different courses, the AMs had their share of backups. We had nine hours of tournament play with a brief lunch between course/round changes…no rest for the weary. You just had to stay focused, on your game and respect everyone else on the course.

Sunday was “Renaissance Original” for the AMs. Between the change in course and the long Saturday, you saw the dynamics and endurance of players come into play for sure.
DGstickers threw in a shirt and some stickers for the Ring of Fire prizes on Sunday and people were stoked.

And special thanks to “Philly” Phil H. for the death-defying ride to get some lunch during our 20 minute break Saturday.
